Darren began his career as a Programmer in 1992 working on various multimedia titles. In 1996 he became Head of Programming for Epic in Brighton working on various PC game titles. Subsequently he moved to Hasbro Interactive to work as a producer on a number of game titles on PS1 and PC.
In 1998 Darren moved to SCi to work on Carmageddon 2. He has been involved with all of SCi’s subsequent releases becoming Development Manager in 2000 and Development Director in 2003.
In 2005 Darren moved to Eidos where he maintained the role of Development Director on a large number of games.
Later, in December 2008, he moved to Black Bean Games as the Head of Development, and between March 2010 - March 2011 became a Development Manager for Stainless Games, where he worked on major licenses for XBLA, PSN and Steam.
After this, he chose to leave the industry, working as a teacher of Computer Science at multiple educational institutes.
